Pulsenotes
Established by three newly qualified doctors, Pulsenotes aims to accompany tomorrow’s medical professionals through their undergraduate journey. Beautifully presented and highly digestible content is presented across a triad of interlinking content channels: Videos, Questions & Notes. The team required a visual identity that reflected the quality of their content and communicated their unique approach its delivery.

Challenge
From the curation of the content, to the way users would engage with the application, Pulsenotes aimed to deliver practical medical learning, but wanted to differentiate themselves further from competitors with beautiful design.
Pulsenotes envisaged its users interacting with the app in a similar way they would regularly pick up a text book. The service was positioned as a learning companion, on hand to support medical teaching in university. User experience was at the heart of the design and navigation, on desktop, tablet or mobile.

Strategy
A stylised ‘P’, made up of three interlocking arms (each representing a specific content channel) was designed to lead brand messaging. Instantly iconic, the logo differentiates Pulsenotes from it competitors with a bold, energetic colour palette.

“Big Fan were incredibly helpful in creating our brand. Communication was excellent and the team immediately understood our requirements. The brand they delivered was exceptional, very well thought-out, and most importantly visually beautiful and distinctive. We will certainly be working with Big Fan again soon.”
